When it goes under the couch, you don't crawl after it. Slide any metal rod underneath and it lifts itself out and comes back to you. When play is over it goes on the fridge door instead of the floor, so the toy is also where the toy is stored. The magnet is stitched in place with 100% cotton thread run through the magnet hole and into the wool body — nothing is glued.

Cut one open and it is wool the whole way through. Solid felted New Zealand wool — no plastic core, no stuffing, no bell, nothing rattling inside. It was wet felted into a base first, then needle felted into shape by hand, so it is one piece of wool from the outside in.

Under 4cm and under 5g, so it moves on a light swat and your cat can pick it up and carry it off in their mouth. Light enough that one push sends it far enough to be worth chasing.

Baseball, basketball and football are built the same way, on the same magnetic base.
