Buckle base: The Buckle base does not release if the collar catches. It is for supervised wear only. Take it off when your cat is left alone. The Buckle base is for decoration only. It is not recommended for kittens under 6 months.

Magnets and small parts: Bowties and charms attach by magnet and can come off. The stone in a jewel charm is glued and can come loose. Fit them for supervised wear only, check them before each wear, and keep attachments not in use where your cat cannot reach them. If you believe your cat has swallowed a magnet or a stone, contact a veterinarian immediately.
